get to know me
Hi, I’m Bridgette. I’ve always been interested in many areas of art. I was told as a child I had artistic talent and often had a sketchbook in my hands. I always loved reading books and looking at storybook illustrations. This led me to pursue an art focus in college with the vision of becoming a children’s book illustrator. I ended up graduating with a BFA in illustration in 2007. After graduation I pursued a new path in graphic design which became an exciting new opportunity I soon after realized I had an eye for. I’ve enjoyed the many opportunities in my career as an in-house graphic designer that have allowed me to grow as an artist in the field by expanding my skills in web design, print design, advertising, photography, videography, branding, SEO, and marketing.
On the side I enjoy creating digital illustrations, painting with acrylic paint on canvas and doing other craft projects when I have the time. I also developed a passion for logo design in various freelance projects. I enjoy being challenged by each art project that pushes me to work creatively and explore new trends and play with design, as I find these projects very rewarding once they are complete when I know I gave the client something fantastic. Overall, I enjoy working in a creative field, designing and creating artwork for print or digital media and welcome commissioned requests for various needs.
